Considering the huge popularity of Asian women with men the world over, there are surprisingly few books on this subject. Your local bookstore may have none at all apart from general books on dating and Asian travel guides, which are unlikely to contain advice on dating Asian women or suggestions on where to meet them. The "Lonely Planet" guides, for example, have special sections for gay and lesbian travelers in addition to plenty of information about accommodation, sightseeing, history, culture, etc. but avoid listing places where - God forbid - heterosexual male visitors might meet attractive local women wanting to meet them!

I have found only a few other books that deal with this subject: one written by an Asian-American woman based on interviews with other Asian-American women as to what they want in a man (this is likely to be quite different from women living in Asia, and any book written by a female about dating Asian women is unlikely to mention their negative points!); and a couple of others written by Western men whose experiences with Asian women seem mainly limited to bargirls they met on vacation in Thailand and the Philippines.

However, each book has its own merits; each author's experiences and perspective are somewhat different, so you will increase your knowledge of Asian women by reading as much as you can on the subject from any source – in addition, of course, to actually meeting and dating Asian women!

During the 22 years I have lived and worked in many Asian countries I have dated 400-500 Asian women from 13 countries and a variety of backgrounds during that time, I felt that I had much more to contribute on this subject that other books hadn't covered or in depth.
